After the first day of school, I left the first home-stay immediately. Before I moved out, Vi has told Carol by phone that I will leave there in the afternoon. When Ray helped me to take my luggage by car, I did not see anyone at home. So I did not have a chance to say goodbye with Carol, I just put the key on the table. What kind of person of Carol? I did not know because we did not get along for a long time, Maybe I miss an opportunity to know her. Maybe it was a mistaken decision that I moved out.
If I did not compare it with Anne’s home-stay or it was not too far from school. Maybe I will stay here. Even though she did not give me the kind of feeling of family.
PS-Later I asked other classmates about this home-stay. Because this is a small school, it is very easy to get the answer. Someone who has lived in Coral’s house made an appraisal –just so so.
住在100%的寄宿家庭從此以後就會快樂？唉...這裡一切都很好...吃得好、住得好、父母好...只是我常常會覺得沒有自己的空間...覺得自己是"客人"
After living in the 100% prefect home-stay , it will be happy forever？Alas …every thing was perfect here…ate well、lived well、good parents …I just often felt I could not find personal space…I felt that I was a “guest”.
因為我的房間是和Anne共用的，書桌只有一個，我會不好意思用，當我想做功課時，通常我都坐在客廳，但是寄宿家庭的爸媽常常都看DVD看到十二點，聲音都很大聲...
說實話他們真的很有錢，音響效果一極棒的，我想他們是因為寂寞所以當寄宿家庭的吧！
Because Anne and I shared the same room, there was only one desk in our room. I felt embarrassed to use it. When I wanted to do my homework, I usually sat in the living room. However, home-stay parents usually watched the DVD until 12 o’clock and the voice usually very loudly…
To tell the true, they are really very rich. The acoustics is number one. I guessed they would like to be a home-stay because they are lonely.

我最大的煩惱來自~我的室友Anne，因為她和我ㄧ樣來自台灣，所以一回家都在說中文，即使我請她盡量說英文，她說她辦不到...其實，Anne的英文超好的，所以她認為不需要練習，但是我是來唸英文的，即使時間只有一個月，我還是希望盡我所能努力學習...
我常常在想我真的要在這裡住一個月嗎？感覺上一直都是借住別人家，即使我有付一樣的費用，還是覺得自己是客人...而這種感覺越來越強烈...
這時候如果說想再換寄宿家庭...真的覺得很對不起Ray和Nacy...我實在說不出口ㄚ！
The most vexation was from my roommate-Anne. Because both of us came from Taiwan , we spoke Chinese all the time at our home-stay. I asked her done all her can to speak English with me. She told me that she could not. Actually Anne could speak English very well so that she did not consider that she should practice her English. However, I came here for studying English. Even though it only has one month I still wanted to do my best…
I often thought, “ Do I live here for one month?” It made me have a feeling that I just lived in someone’s house. Even though I have paid the same fee, I still felt that I was a guest. However, it became more and more strong…
At this time, if I said I would like to change my home-stay again…I felt really sorry for Ray and Nacy…I could not say it….

假日早餐：一般早餐自己做，假日Nacy會做特別的給我們吃
The breakfast on holiday- We usually made the breakfast by ourselves but Nacy made the special breakfast for us on holiday.
在這裡每ㄧ餐都吃得很好，也幾乎都是高熱量，其實內心深處有點擔心自己的體重ㄟ...
我發現加拿大人喜歡喝冷飲，即使在寒冷冬天，他們還是會喝冰的飲料，飲料裡還放滿滿的冰塊，這讓我感到不可思議...我和Anne都不喜歡喝冰的東西，Anne甚至都還會把牛奶加熱，這反而讓Ray他們覺得百思不得其解，因為他們從不喝熱牛奶...
Every meal was not only wonderful but also high caloric in this home-stay. In fact, I have a little worry about my weight.
I found Canadians liked to drink the cold drink. Even though in the cold winter, they still drank the cold drink that was full of ice cubes. It made me feel inscrutable…Anne and I both did not like to drink the cold drink. Anne even heated the milk. It made them feel inscrutable because they have never drunk the hot milk…

After finishing the dinner, sometimes we took a walk.
Ray真的是個好人，他常常找機會、找話題，和我說話，讓我練習英文，如果ㄧ開始就安排我在這樣的寄宿家庭該有多好？
Ray is really a kind person. He often found the opportunities and subjects to talk with me and let me practice my English. It will be wonderful that if they arranged me to live in this home-stay at the first time.
Peak's Wharf~我們住在離港口很近的地方，這裡也是觀光勝地
