My friend just got off the airplane, and then went horse riding immediately. I really admired them for their spirit. We asked the assistant in our language school, Vi, to get the horse-riding place. You can find it on the guidebook of PEI . The after-school activity was horse riding yesterday. Because I already finished my course, I couldn’t join them, but I wanted to ride a horse. The price was cheap, and it cost about ten dollars for each one.

We took a taxi to horse-riding, and met a handsome driver.

We were going to ride horses, and it was so exciting.

(To take this picture out of the stable.)

When I got on the horse’s back, I started to imagine that what I could do, if I spilt from the horse.

The style of horse riding is “as you wish”. No one will help you to pull the horse. After you get on the horse, you need to pray God bless you! God! It is so exciting for me. Although I had horse-riding experience in New Zealand before and behaved like an old hand. However, when I got on the horse, I started to become very nervous and couldn’t say a word because I have acrophobia.

Everyone could find that I was very nervous and my face became pale.

The boss said that this horse was too old to have a rush.

Compared with Anne, I was useless. How brave Anne was!

She even showed me the V mark in her fingers, but I didn’t have the courage to loose my hand.

Let's go!

Before we departed, I gave my camera to the boss who led the way. Because I didn’t have courage to loose my hand, I couldn’t take the pictures. Even though I could take the pictures, I wouldn’t be in the picture. It was a pity for me, too. Therefore, I thought of a good ideal that I gave my camera to the boss, and asked him to take pictures as many as he could. The following pictures were taken by the boss. You can see the beautiful scenery through the picture that we saw when riding horses.

Because I was close to the owner, we chatted at times.

He asked me a question that many people asked me.

He asked, “Excuse me, are Taiwan and China the same?”

I replied, “This is a sensitive question. Do you think that we are the same?”

He said, “ diffrernt.”

There were a lot of people having the same opinion, and they considered that we were different.

The horses were very docile, so we had a good time.

Although sometime I had a fancy that I darted with the horse.

However, it was just a fancy.

We made a circle around and came back again.

We all arrived safely. However, it was difficult to me that I didn’t know how to get off the horse.

We took a picture with the owner together.

There is a misunderstanding between us and the owner.

I didn’t find it at that time. After we discussed it in the car, we found this mistake.

I wanted to give him a call, and told him, “It’s a misunderstanding.”

The story was—

After we got off the horse, we used our camera to take many pictures with our horses or the owner. We found that the owner’s face looked awful when we saw the pictures later. Besides, he pointed his middle finger at us. Why did he do that?

It turned out that most of Taiwanese liked to make a gesture “V” when they took pictures. However, Canadians did not do that. The owner thought that we showed our middle finger to him, so that he did it to us, too. My God! This was a big misunderstanding.
